“Meet the Partners”

Bruce:

“I’m Bruce Wiener. I’m just starting my twenty-eighth year in the practice of law. I originally got my education at the University of San Diego Law School, Berkley undergrad. I clerked for a Federal Bankruptcy Judge for a couple of years, worked in insurance defense for about nine years representing insurance companies, and then have been doing plaintiff’s personal injury ever since.”

James:

“Hi. My name is James Lambka of Wiener Lambka Deutscher. I have been a member of the firm since its inception when Bruce and I formed it in 2002. I do most of the management of the firm as well as I head up the litigation side on the automobile accident cases and insurance dispute matters. I am a graduate of Washington and Lee University in Virginia; it is a perennial top 20 law school in the country. I went to Michigan State for my undergrad, and I have been practicing and living in Washington now for sixteen years.”

Ann:

“I am Ann Deutscher. I have practiced in the area of complex litigation and medical malpractice for about twenty-two years. I tend to emphasize significant injuries, catastrophic injuries, death, childbirth injuries, medical malpractice, people who have fallen down elevator shafts, nursing home injuries. Generally, at any given time, approximately 80 percent of my case load is wrongful death cases or catastrophic injuries.”

“Cases We Handle”

Bruce:

“At Wiener Lambka Deutscher, we handle personal injury accidents and disputes, from medical malpractice to automobile cases, and dog bites to premises liability.”

James:

“Seeking an Attorney”

James:

“Early on in a case there are various ways we can help people. If you are dealing with an insurance company and they are being unresponsive or, frankly, outright rude and difficult, that’s a good sign that you might need an attorney to come and help you out because it probably is not going to get any better. Property damage, if there are questions about the valuation of your property and you don’t think you are being treated fairly or, if you are asked to sign something or give away your medical records, these are all things we can help with and I encourage people who are at that stage in their claim to please give us a call.”
